1. Not medical or psychological advice
Nothing on SelfAxes is medical, psychological, psychiatric or sexual-health advice. The tests, personas, axes and reports are not clinical instruments, have not been validated as diagnostic tools, and do not replace a conversation with a doctor, therapist or counsellor.
2. What a result is
A result is a description of how you answered a set of statements on one day. It reflects your mood, your honesty with yourself and the situations you had in mind while answering. It can change, and two people with the same persona can be very different. Treat it as a mirror and a conversation starter, not a verdict.
3. Adult subject matter
The Sexual Persona test talks about desire, intimacy and attraction in plain language. It is written for adults, never labels a preference as wrong or broken, and never asks about or depicts sexual activity involving minors or non-consenting people. If any content makes you uncomfortable you can stop at any time.
4. If you need support
If you are in distress, worried about your mental or sexual health, or in a relationship that feels unsafe, please talk to a qualified professional or contact a local support line. In an emergency call your local emergency number.
5. Reports and membership content
Reports are written to explain your scores and suggest ideas you might try. They are general in nature. Whether a suggestion suits you depends on your circumstances, your health and your partner or partners, so use your own judgement and, where relevant, professional advice.
6. Questions or concerns
If something in a test or report seems inaccurate, harmful or out of place, tell us at [email protected]. We review every report and correct what needs correcting.
